Hi Amy,
Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting. Ayala's fragrances are really special, and Palas Atena might be my favorite. (Although I just got a sample of Schizm and can't wait to try it) I find the sillage of PA to be perfect, will consider it the next time I go to yoga... thanks for the idea :-)

I adore Palas Atena. Spicy perfection. Ayala is such a talented perfumer. There aren't many of her perfumes that I don't love.

Hi Trish,
I love the blog, thanks for being here. I think this is my first comment. Palas Atena is one of my faves from Ayala. I find her description of it as "radiating masculine strength and power alongside a feminine mystery" to be spot on. My most favorite place to wear it is to yoga, because it makes me feel grounded and strong, and catching wafts of it makes me smile and yet it is subtle enough not to disturb anyone else. I notice mostly jasmine, lavender and cinnamon in the beginning, all very warm and ambery, and then in the drydown it morphs to patchouli and orange with jasmine playing a supporting role. I'm not sure I know what champaca smells like, so I'm not conscious of it being there. Plus it lasts 10+ hours on me, which is just incredible. I love it, so glad you reviewed it!
